The «Cookies Law» is the name given to Article 4(3) of Royal Decree-Law 13/2012, of 30 March, published in the "Official State Gazette" on Saturday 31 March 2012, and coming into force on the following day. The Cookies Law, transposing Directive 2009/136/EC, of the European Parliament and the Council, of 25 November 2009, is incorporated in the Information Society and Electronic Commerce Services Law - LSSI- (Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on the information society and electronic commerce services), modifying its Article 22(2).
